Stud Guards

Stud guards, also called self-nailing nail plates, are protective shield plates designed to prevent nails from piercing pipes and electrical wiring. Stud guards are manufactured with two prongs at each end to allow them to be driven into wood construction material. No nails or screws are necessary.

• Stamped from 16 gauge CQ quality steel 

• Steel thickness between .052 - .059 decimals 

• Typically 1.5" wide and 5" or 6" in length
